On the basis of the provisions of art. 13 of the General Regulations on Data Protection (hereinafter, GDPR ([1]), the Luca Coscioni  Association for Freedom of Scientific Research (hereinafter, ALC), as owner of the treatment, informs you that the personal data you provide for the purposes of membership of the Association, including special data ([2]) or those provided as a sympathizer or donor, that is, for the sole purpose of requesting information relating to the initiatives carried out by ALC, will be treated for the exclusive purpose of managing the associative relationship or the different relationship with ALC as described above, in respect of your rights and fundamental freedoms, and limited to what is necessary for the pursuit of the legitimate interest pursued by ALC.([3])

Your data will be processed by those who work under the authority of ALC, as well as by external parties who, where deemed necessary or appropriate, are appointed data controllers.

The treatment will take place both with paper instruments and with the help of electronic equipment, in full compliance with the principles dictated by the GDPR, including with regard to the adoption of appropriate measures to ensure the security, protection and confidentiality of your personal data.

The provision of personal data is not obligatory, but in its absence it will not be possible to pursue the management of the association or your interests as a sympathizer or donor or information applicant.

Personal data may be communicated to third parties to whom some services of a fiscal, accounting, administrative nature are outsourced.

Your data may also be used, with your consent, to send via SMS, other messaging systems (eg: whatsapp), e-mail, information material relating to activities and campaigns carried out by ALC for the pursuit of its statutory purposes.

Consent may be revoked at any time.

The data provided by you will be kept after the termination of the association, for the only period necessary to fulfil the legal obligations that ALC is required to comply with, or for the period necessary to exercise the rights of defence in the event of litigation.

The data provided by sympathizers or donors or information seekers, will be retained, with your consent, for the above mentioned sending of information material.

Under the GDPR, you are entitled to exercise specific rights, including, under the conditions set out in the GDPR, the right to access, correct (Article 16), delete (Article 17), restrict (Article 18) and object to the processing of your data (Article 21) ([4]). All your rights can also be exercised by lodging a complaint with the Guarantor for the protection of personal data.
